In Western countries, the field of Holocaust studies is highly regulated by penal laws, government regulations and non-governmental acceptable-use policies. Views deviating from what is commonly considered “acceptable” are suppressed by almost all forces of societies. 28 Western countries have outlaw dissent, making it a crime punishable with up to 20 years in prison to voice peaceful views not aligned with the “orthodox” narrative.
